I am Jen. I had a cervical discectomy and human bone alliograft on 1/17/24 and this is my recovery. Only months before the surgery, I was also diagnosed with: severe Psoriatic arthitis in my hands, feet, and spine, spinal stenosis in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar, hypothyroidism, and some kind of chronic congenital condition that has caused ischemic changes in my brain (docs still trying to figure that one out.) Before my rapid decline in health in May 2023, I worked as a personal traininer, yoga/pilates teacher specializing in working with special populations (seniors, youth, pre/post-partum, women, substance recovery, mental health) and chronic conditions. Now I am not only the coach, I am also a client.
